Toy Auction January 1, 2011


        Garner Auctioneers, LLC held a dispersal auction New Years Day for the estate of Elmer Burbick Of Columbiana County. Elmer was a well known collector of Toy Farm Tractors. His collection included all but one of the Precision John Deere series, ten International and eleven Allis-Chalmers plus almost four hundred fifty non precision tractors. With sixty three bidders registered on and one hundred two registered in house bidders, prices were very good.

 The high selling tractor was a power shift Big Bud 16v-747 silver anniversary Factory edition NIB sold for $300.00;

John Deere 40 crawler with blade made in 1954 $225.00; Allis Chalmers D-15 with New Idea mtd. picker Precision #8 $235.00;

 Allis Chalmers display case with 4 tractors (D-14, D-14 one front wheel, D-15 single front wheel and a D- 15 1 of 1000 1989 set) $350.00.

The AGCO pulling tractor, The Silver Bullet unlimited, a 5 time national winner sold for $300.00;

Allis Chalmers 440 tractor $210.00;

Precision John Deere 4020 tractor with mtd. 237 picker $170.00;

A Precision #7 Ford 5000 tractor $145.00;

Ford 8000 customized with big rear wheels & narrow front $200.00;

Toy Farmer Oliver 1950-T silver anniversary, Oliver 99 by Franklin Mint $140.00;

        As you can see by the above prices many of the tractors have enhanced in value from their original cost, making them an enjoyable collecting hobby plus a good savings account.
